The guiding force of this group is education and liberation in regard to the sexual health, education, and healing of Black Women. The goal is demystification and education about the body and its connection to love, sex, trauma, pain, pleasure, culture, and history. We will engage African American women experiencers of sexual assault and their supporters through the use of powerpoint presentations, reading excerpts, processing questions, and discussion. This will be a 16 week series broken down in two two eight week sections.
